Petiopika makes premium toys for the dogs and cats who run our homes — built from natural materials, tested by real pets, beautiful enough to leave on the rug.

How it started

A frustration with toys that didn’t last a week.

Petiopika began with two pets and one tired drawer of broken toys. Plastic that cracked under the first chew. Fabrics that shed dye onto cream rugs. Designs we kept hiding before guests came over. We loved our animals; we hated the gear.

So we set out to make the toys we’d been looking for. We started with a single brief: natural materials, real durability, and design quiet enough to live with. Three years and dozens of rejected prototypes later, the first nine pieces shipped.

Built like furniture, not toys

Engineered for the long play.

Every Petiopika piece is engineered with the same patience as a piece of furniture. Solid hardwoods. Food-grade rubber. GOTS-certified organic cottons. Hand-finished where it matters.

We test against real chewers and real claws — not lab dummies. If it can’t survive a Saturday morning with an actual Labrador, it doesn’t leave the studio.

For the cat side of the family

Catnip that actually works.

Our cat line is built around USA-grown organic catnip and the same engineering philosophy we apply to our dog toys. Reinforced seams. Refillable pockets. Embroidered faces instead of plastic eyes that pop off.

The Snake, our flagship cat plush, has converted previously-unimpressed cats in over 90% of test households. We don’t make light claims. We make rigorous ones.

Natural, certified, traceable

No BPA, PVC, phthalates, or surprise plastics. Every supplier is audited annually. Cotton is GOTS, rubber is food-grade, wood is FSC-certified hardwood.

02 / Engineering

Tested by real pets

Every prototype is field-tested with a panel of 40+ households across breeds and play styles. If it doesn’t survive 60 days of normal use, it goes back to the studio.

03 / Design

Beautiful enough to leave out

Pet gear shouldn’t require a closet. Every piece is shaped, colored, and finished to live alongside your books and your ceramics — not behind them.
